Therapy to help humans adapt and thrive in their own skin.
Alexandra Zuck, OTD, OTR/L
I am a licensed and registered occupational therapist based in California, and deeply passionate about all facets of health—mental, physical, spiritual, and beyond. As an occupational therapist, I empower children and adults with disabilities to engage in life safely, practically, and meaningfully.
I earned my Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy in 2018 and my Doctorate of Occupational Therapy (OTD) in 2019 from the University of Southern California's Chan Division of Occupational Therapy. Before that, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Florida in 2014.
Currently, I work with the Los Angeles Unified School District's Division of Special Education, where I support students in achieving greater independence and success in their daily lives.

My healthcare interests.
Born and raised in the midwest, and since moving among different areas of the United States, with age I've experienced an interest in the diversity of life experiences, backgrounds, and health outcomes in the United States. Combined with clinical and volunteer experiences in a variety of practice settings, as well as doctoral training within homeless healthcare, I'm passionate about bridging gaps within healthcare as it relates to functional participation and positive health outcomes, while utilizing a client-centered, dynamic, and rehabilitation-based focus. The last four years of clinical experience, I've focused on work with children in the school-setting as well as the outpatient clinical setting. I value creativity, playfulness and advocacy and strive to help empower and educate parents and families using the tools and clinical skills that I am continuing to hone.
